Aftercare Guide
Proper aftercare is what ensures your investment performs the way it was designed to. Paint protection film, vinyl wraps, ceramic coatings, and tint all require specific handling, especially in their initial cure period. Following the right maintenance approach helps prevent premature wear, maintains appearance, and protects warranty coverage. Our aftercare guidance gives you clear expectations, protects your results, and helps your vehicle continue looking its best over time.
Paint Protection Film (PPF) Aftercare
✔ Avoid washing for 5–7 days after installation to allow edges to settle and moisture to evaporate.
✔ Wash using pH-neutral soap and soft mitts — avoid abrasive pads or automatic car washes.
✔ Keep high-pressure water away from film edges, sensors, and wrapped corners.
✔ Do not pick bubbles — contact us so we can heat-set or refinish the area properly.
✔ Avoid ceramic sprays containing strong solvents unless recommended by your installer.
✔ A yearly inspection is recommended to maintain appearance and address edge tension or staining early.
PPF is designed to self-heal light scratches with heat or sun exposure. Proper care helps preserve clarity and ensures the protection lasts as long as intended.

Vinyl Wrap Aftercare
✔ Avoid washing for 5–7 days after installation to allow adhesive cure and edge settling.
✔ Hand wash only — use pH-neutral soap, soft microfiber mitts, and gentle rinse techniques.
✔ Matte, satin, and textured films should never be waxed or polished; this can cause streaking and gloss patches.
✔ Clean bird droppings, fuel residue, sap, and stains promptly to avoid surface etching.
✔ Avoid automatic car washes, brushes, and pressure wands aimed at edges or seams.
✔ Inspect high-touch areas (door handles, edges, trunk lips) periodically for wear or lifting.
Ceramic Coating
✔ Avoid washing for 5–7 days to allow full curing and bonding.
✔ Hand wash with pH-neutral soap and a soft wash mitt — avoid harsh detergents or foam cannons with strong chemicals.
✔ Dry with clean microfiber towels to prevent mineral water spotting.
✔ Avoid abrasive polishes or compound products unless professionally advised, as they can reduce coating performance.
✔ Clean bird droppings, brake dust, tar, and sap quickly to prevent etching.
✔ Annual inspection or decontamination is recommended to ensure long-term performance and coverage compliance.

Window Tint
Do not roll windows down for 3–5 days after installation to avoid edge lifting.
✔ It is normal to see haziness or small bubbles during curing — these dissipate as moisture evaporates.
✔ Avoid ammonia-based cleaners — use tint-safe or pH-neutral glass cleaner with soft microfiber towels.
✔ Do not scrub tint edges or corners, as this may compromise adhesive.
✔ Keep sharp objects, jewelry, and abrasive materials away from interior film surfaces.
✔ Full cure time may vary based on climate and film type, typically 2–4 weeks.
